I'd like to thank all of you for committing to running and drinking your heart out. By October, not only will you be prepared to run a half marathon successfully, but you will also be able to drink all of your competitors under the table. If we can make it through August being able to run 7 miles AND drink half a bottle of wine in one sitting with only a buzz, it'll be downhill towards October 19th. So lace up those running shoes, sharpen your cork screw, and get ready for Running for Wine 2008!

Thanks, Andi! Today it's blue/purple from the top of my ankle to my toes. Yuck! It feels much better, though. I think I'll be back in the game in another week. p.s. - I was reading online about how to care for a sprained ankle, and one of the sites warned against excessive drinking following a sprain. oops. :)
